Yahoo's stock went flying last night after it reported earnings. The core business of Yahoo wasn't particularly great, revenue was up 1%. But, Alibaba's revenue was up 66%, and Yahoo owns 24% of that company.

A little after 1 PM yesterday, Twitter's stock went nuts. It was up 11.4%. We're not sure why, but Twitter hired a new head of product, and it bought a data company called Gnip yesterday.

Amazon's smartphone is real, and BGR has photos and complete details on it. It's going to have 5 front facing cameras, with 4 of those cameras used to create a 3D effect for the screen.

Automattic, the parent company of Wordpress, is looking to raise $100 million in new funding.

Online invitation site Paperless Post raised $20 million in funding.
