Connectria expands in Dallas; health-care apps to improve your health: 7 things

Connectria, the St. Louis hosting company with $30 million in annual revenue, just expanded its Dallas data center capacity by over 200 percent because of increasing demand and anticipated growth.

Better, a startup with an app by the same name,  launches in the Apple App Store today. Better (the app), through a partnership with the Mayo Clinic, gives users access to personal health assistants, a nurse line, automated symptom checker, personalized health information and electronic medical records. The app is free, but if you want the human interaction services, that will cost you $49 a month.

Hello Doctor, a free app created by a woman whose boyfriend was diagnosed with a brain tumor, also  launches today on the app store. The app makes it easier for patients and caregivers to organize medical records and related paperwork.

Yahoo stock  soared yesterday in small part because its ad sales were up last quarter but in large part because it has a 25 percent stake in Chinese Internet giantAlibaba, which is gaining value as it prepares for its U.S. IPO.

Missouri legislators have passed bills that would require the state’s Department of Economic Development to  establish an office in Israel.

Squarespace, the startup that makes websites for people and businesses, just  raised $40 million from General Atlantic.
