Squarespace and ShipStation Announce Full Integration, Providing Robust Shipping Solution to Squarespace Customers

Austin, TX (PRWEB) November 26, 2013

Squarespace, the leading all-in-one website publishing platform, today announced a complete integration with ShipStation, the leading web-based e-commerce shipping solution.

Since 2004, Squarespace has offered a fully-hosted environment for creating and maintaining a website. Known for its sophisticated yet easy-to-use interfaces, Squarespace’s do-it-yourself tools allow creative professionals, businesses, bloggers, and web developers to quickly and easily create and maintain professional, high-quality websites.

Squarespace Commerce, a completely integrated solution for selling physical goods, digital goods, and services directly from the Squarespace platform, was introduced in February 2013. As thousands of merchants started selling through their Squarespace websites, Squarespace began looking for a solution to help them ship orders more efficiently.

"Our commerce customers told us that as they grow, one of their top challenges is managing the shipping process,” notes Squarespace CEO Anthony Casalena. “We made the decision to integrate with ShipStation, as it is a best-in class service that will dramatically decrease the time and aggravation involved with shipping for our merchants. The integration seamlessly syncs the two services. Merchants can now print shipping labels in batch and automatically send shipping notifications with tracking numbers to their customers, saving lots of time and headaches.”

"We’re thrilled to partner with such an amazing company,” says Nathan Jones, ShipStation CEO. "Working with Squarespace was a dream – it was one of our easiest – yet most robust – integrations. We look forward to providing their customers with time- and money-saving shipping solutions, including label creation and management, automated shipping statuses and updates, and discounted shipping rates.”
