New York, NY — February 4, 2014 — Squarespace, the leading all-in-one website publishing platform, today announced its “Be a Part of It” recruiting campaign in New York City, which aims to hire a combined 30 engineers and product designers by March 15th. The company is spending $15 million dollars in New York and another $3 million to grow its 260-person team to 450 by the end of 2014.
All candidates who are invited to interview – as well as their spouse or partner – are offered a long weekend on the town that will include trips to several of Squarespace’s favorite New York institutions to give applicants a taste of life in the Big Apple.
Locations that applicants will experience as part of their tour of Squarespace’s New York will include The SoHo Grand Hotel in SoHo, Wylie Dufresne’s Alder in the East Village, Smalls Jazz Club in the West Village, and The New Museum in SoHo — all compliments of Squarespace.
“New York is an extraordinary place that has something for everyone. Many of us at Squarespace are constantly inspired by, and thrive on, the the city’s energy and culture,” remarked Joris Luijke, Squarespace’s VP of People. “We want to lure people away from Silicon Valley and other tech communities. We believe New York is the best place in the world to live and be inspired – it’s the perfect backdrop for our design-oriented tech jobs.”
The “Be a Part of It” campaign is eligible to all national and international applicants. For more information on the campaign, visit beapartofit.squarespace.com.
