Today one of the newcomers to the Super Bowl advertising released their Super Bowl ad in full. Squarespace is an all-in-one website publishing platform established 10 years ago. The company made quite a splash with the announcement to advertise during the Super Bowl as this means a serious financial bet for the rather small company.

The Squarespace 30-second commercial, titled “A Better Web Awaits,” is set in an alternate universe that personifies what people have come to love and hate about the Internet. As the hero is overwhelmed by a wild cast of characters, viewers will recognize countless Internet archetypes and memes throughout the sequence of events. The ad was designed to convey what Squarespace stands against, and stresses the company’s belief in creating a better web.

The Squarespace Super Bowl 2014 ad is quite good and should perform well on Super Bowl sunday. It is packed with cool references to everything that is wrong with the internet. Watch the Squarespace Super Bowl ad now below.
