Website publishing company sets up European HQ in Dublin creating 100 jobs

Squarespace, the website publishing company, has announced 100 new jobs for Dublin as it decides on the capital for a new European HQ.

Good news on the jobs front for Ireland, as 100 new tech jobs are being created thanks to the lads at Squarespace.

The company is based in New York and their service basically allows a user to create a website or blog without the hassle of writing out pages of HTML code.

"We chose Dublin as our first location outside of New York City over many others in Europe," said Anthony Casalena, founder and chief executive of Squarespace.

"Dublin offers us a friendly, young, and talented workforce in a vibrant centre city location. It's the perfect choice for Squarespace,'' he added.
